CACFP Has Been "TP'd" (in a good way!)

Quarry Hill residents have been a regular donor of various items thanks to the people who live there. Their most recent donation was a toilet paper fund drive which netted us over 100 rolls of toilet paper. While CACFP is the recipient of many free government food items, toilet paper (a much appreciated necessity by our families) is an item we must purchase. So we accepted this donation with a smile and much gratitude.

In mentioning this at one of our board meetings, Karrie van Ryn, one of our board members, offered to ask the nursery school she works at, Seaside Village School, to have a TP fund drive as well. This blossomed into a co-operative effort by Seaside and two other local nursery schools, Montessori and Peopleplace. Between the three schools an additional 500 plus rolls were donated. What a wonderful effort in teaching our young to give to others!

CACFP is very appreciative of everyone's efforts!
