Farmers to Families

On February 13, Camden Area Christian Food Pantry hosted the distribution of USDA ”Farmers to Families” food boxes.

Any family wishing to have one was provided a box of food filled with fresh produce, cheeses, meat, and a gallon of milk.

We had almost 60 families come to receive this wonderful offering.

Board members of the pantry showed up in force to help disperse boxes to clients who waited in their cars. Many thanks to them and to Jeff Brawn and Dennis Milliken for driving to Warren to pick up the supplies. We also were able to add an additional bag of surplus food from pantry stock. Clients were most appreciative to receive this extra food, many coming back after having already been at the pantry earlier in the week for their normal pick up.
